How would you describe your process behind designing your OCs? All your characters are fun to look at and imagine in motion, but how do you get to a result you're happy with since I find myself redesigning the same character for months? I'm especially curious about Ruths creation because wasn't she meant to be an adoptable?
What you'll come to notice when looking through all of my old art is that they've all gone through several redesigns over the span of months to years. Only recently have I really found a place where I'm happy with some of their design. I am by no means an expert when it comes to character design so I can't really tell you my "recipe" I just kinda feel it out until I find a design that I enjoy drawing and work it out from there.
There wasn't much behind Ruth's initial design. I basically took a combination of features that I found hot and put them all in a character. She's also gone through several iterations since her conception but only recently have I settled on a consistent look.
