Which extracurricular activities did you get involved in as a kid? Do you think any of them taught you anything worthwhile?

I did swimming from baby till I was 12 as both my parents didn't know how to swim, so I can swim back in case i fall in water, tho got asthma from it like many professional swimmers which sucks ;;
