I might be the wrong person to ask cause I'm biased and ACE but I dont think its weird at all to be more turned on by lighter suggestive scenarios or themes then full on explicit ones. people have a very wide spread of what they find sexy or attractive and you might be surprised that the subtle things are more of a turn on for people. and honestly a lot of people are more into scenarios that often start off less explicit and eventual become more explicit

Now you might have some more niche tastes that are less normal depending on what kind of scenarios you get turned on my but ingeneral its not that weird.
