Moths are gorgeous and elegant, as are butterflies. But as a moon lover I lean towards the moffs more. Also mantises. I always enjoy seeing them. Orchid mantises especially are just gorgeous. Seeing mimicry like that is hella cool! Also also shoutout to spiders. I think I'd still scream if a tarantula snuck up on me but spiders is cool and cute and good friends.
Honorary mention to cicadas. Current profile pic is a cicada anthro adopt I adored at first sight so I've been trying to learn more about them. Their life cycle is interesting! Though I don't live near enough to a breeding ground to know the noise personally.
