lai beat you to this one but i will also answer my sweet sweet nevski. i talked about bunny's b-day fic but ill adress the elephant in the room with full out becuase shes my sweet baby and i'll always talk about her. she was my first in a lot of ways, my first long fic, my first fic that i just wrote because it's a fic i've always wanted to read but no one else had written it, and it was my first fic that i really explored a character arc and plot fully. a piece of me lives in full out because my own growing up and self is so intertwined with the story and the characters that it scares me a little, and it feels vunerable to have so much of me exist in a work but it also makes me happy and excited to share something that is so important to me with others. it's the first work, and only work, that i really just wrote to myself. an act of love from me to me. i didn't care about kudos or reception or anything really execpt if i was satisfied with it and if it made me happy and it does. i know it's the type of thing that is so impactful to my life that in a couple years when i'm older and have grown i will print out and look back on it and will know that in a sort of way it was my beginning.
