I've read the first chapter, anon. I don't think it's ai. Just decently written. Ofc there's no way to tell if a fic has been ai assisted. It's more difficult to gauge than ai generated to boot.

I'm my lifetime so far there's been one instance where I suspected an author to use AI in writing in sungbri tag. And even then, while I confronted the person about it upfront, I couldn't give solid proofs of it and ended up feeling guilty of accusing a person like that in the end.

I do understand the sentiment though. This became a worriesome trend that undermines readers trust. You wouldn't want to uplift a fic that was written with AI. I can only recommend going with your gut and just rely on your inner critic. If you feel like the fic is lacking something, take it for what it is. Personally, I don't think there's this phenomenon of a fic being written with ai cus it's written too well or too poorly. Ai fics usually lack the je ne sais quoi that individual author brings into it? Idk if I'm making any sense hhhh.
