It's one of the most fascinating games I've played, but what hurts it is that we only received half of the story because Koei Tecmo never localized its prequel, Ciel nosurge for the PS Vita. So you're left with a somewhat incomprehensible story but one that also takes some surprising and dark narrative leaps and you're compelled to peel back each layer in the female leads' mindscapes to get to a fantastic true ending. There's stuff in here that would blow Hideo Kojima's mind. It's also very strong musically, there's one piece by the late Origa which is hauntingly beautiful. All the vocal tracks are bangers.
