I think Persona 4 resonated more with me than 3 with its theme of pursuing the truth. When I was in media I didn't like reporting on rumors, especially ones that would provoke a strong emotional reaction. I was pretty no-nonsense and wanted to get to the bottom of things. Maybe I really wanted to be a detective. But I believe my favorite overall theme is the characters' journey of self discovery and personal growth through plot progression and social links. It's a very human series and I think that's why it's so widely adored and appreciated.
