so, consulting an oracle: is it a good idea for me to rob a central bank in castlevania? i’d be legally in the clear, right? i’m a skeleton and human laws shouldn’t really apply to me.

Good news, dead people can't be held liable for grand theft. Your necromancer would definitely serve time though. Enjoy your afterlife and make sure to visit them now and then when they go to prison.
