I’m trying to get into animation as it’s been a life long dream of mine
But it’s really concerning when Indie animation, which was what was supposed to be the only other route for animation and artistic freedom just becomes everything I hated with Big corpo animation
So I wanted to ask if Animation is Truly doomed if this is what indie animations future is, and as such if I should just give up my dream
Hey Anon, I don't think the animation scene is doomed at all. There's just gonna be a wave of popular animators that make the market look shitty but in the end, it's really still an open oyster. You shouldn't give up. I wouldn't personally. Try looking at the lesser popular/common indie market and you'll feel better. Try not to look at the mid stuff being put out that reflects big corporation trends.

Well for one if you wanna draw, it's never too late. I say practice drawing first and foremost. Stuff that's simple. Like faces or bodies. Practice anatomy.

Would you ever Consider making a VGen Account?
It depends. On one hand I do just to keep organized, but I don't like the community it fosters and I don't want to be associated with the type of artists on there. But if I get a code, will consider it.

Ive separated myself from the community. In no way do I care about SMG4. As for MR, I would just stick to my own ocs and AU (Galway City( and share that project with close friends. Maybe in 6 years when all is said and done I might return but as of now no.
