That’s sweet. I can totally see how growing up around music leaves a lasting impression. it really shapes how we listen and feel about it, doesn’t it? I’d actually love to hear your recommendations, Adriel! I have quite a few favorites myself. I was actually interested in piano a little when I was around 12, but I never had the chance to really learn it. Over time, I got into other things but lately I’ve started listening to piano more and more, and it’s been so lovely to rediscover it. I’d be really curious to see which pieces you’d suggest, maybe I’ll find some new favorites? :D
I love Erik Satie’s Gnossienne No. 3, Claude Debussy’s Reflets Dans L'Eau and Philip Glass’ Glassworks: I. Opening. I find they have an almost eerie quality to them. Rediscovering old passions is always nice. It’s never too late to learn, right? I hope this hobby brings peace in your daily life. What about your favorite piano pieces?
