I am confused as how do I apply my idols for the zine.
e.g. let's say I wanted to have an interview of my characters talking on the zine, or just showing Splatfest art and/or themes. Where do I apply and what do I have to send?
If you are writing a full interview (regardless of whether you are doing your own spot art or not) you should apply as a writer.
If the accompanying art to your interview is a full page, you should also, on TOP of applying as a writer, apply as a page artist and leave a note that your full page is together with your writing pitch!
For the writer's application, you'll submit any past fics you've written as a google doc, or a link to an alternate site (like AO3.) If you don't have any finished fics, roleplaying examples (screenshots or otherwise) will suffice!
For the page artist's application, you'll submit examples of art you've created in the past that best shows off your skill! We're looking for pieces with completed backgrounds and rendering.
This art zine is collaborative in nature, but participants will be writing/drawing pieces on their own!
Applications do not guarantee acceptance. (But you should still apply!)
