Pineapple is a very good topping on a pizza and anyone who tells you otherwise is to be ignored because at the end of the day who cares what people put on pizza. That's like getting into fights over what's a Christmas movie and what isn't.

I grew up in New York, on Long Island, so I have lots of pizza opinions and these are my favorite pizza toppings:

• Pepperoni, because ofc
• ground beef
• ham
• bacon
• pineapple
• sausage, though this can be hit or miss for some reason
• does white pizza count because ricotta on pizza slaps hard
• there was a place on Long Island that used to put penne alla vodka on pizza and it was Nap Time when you ate a slice or two but oh my godddddd it was so good dude!!
• supreme pizza toppings like olives, onions, peppers, all are tremendous stuff to put on your pizza
• I've had philly cheesesteak pizza that was pretty good and has what you would think it has
• breakfast pizza also kicks ass
• I've had mac and cheese on pizza and it's a nap time carb bomb but for a slice or two it's fine
• pasta on pizza in general is weird in theory but pretty good
• I went so far down this list and forgot to say chicken so I will say it now. chicken

If you think I've forgotten something I probably have and probably like it on my pizza. I've had a lot of pizza in my day. It's my Mom's favorite food in the entire world so we used to get it pretty regularly growing up. We had a local pizza place on LI that was open until 4 in the morning no less!! And then like everything else, it got expensive. Especially good pizza. There's like one pizza place where I currently live in my Midwest hellhole that I would ever say is pizza good enough to remind me of New York and to the surprise of no one it's the most expensive place around. A bummer but you know.
