I've been dipping my toes into reading manga, and the one I decided to start on was Azumanga Daioh and I quite enjoyed it! I was wondering if you had read/watched it and if you had any favorite characters? I was also wondering if you have anything similar to recommend?

Azumanga Daioh is great!! My friend group is planning on watching the series at some point and I'm very excited to relive it again. One of said friends is very Osaka-coded so I'm excited to see her understand why we have an Osaka emote that's just said friend's name. I liked Sakaki and Yomi a bunch but also the teachers were very cute.
If you're looking for cute dummy girl high school friend group anime/manga the obvious recommendation to me is always YuruYuri because the girls are cute dummies AND gay gay gay gay gay.
