i think if we're going by like, hanahaki is like a soul mates thing, i think fans faking having it would be a thing that happens. sending weverse notes like, omg idolnamehere you have to love me back i'm dying. makes wonwoo eating the flower on that mama fear stage have entirely new meanings.
I actually think hanahaki is a really good vehicle for horror? I've never read one thats true horror though, just like, near death romances.
