about this whole dont ask bg that kind of questions i have a lil unpopular opinion abt it
a fancall or a fansign is smth only a few fans get to have n it is an opportunity to spend some time w their fav so i dont think anyone has the right to tell them how to spend their time w them, as for the artistry questions thing theyll probably answer most of them in the promotional interviews so i dont think it is a must to ask him a question that he will later answer
as long as it doesnt really bother him i dont see whys everyone mad
voicing one's frustration at those fancall questions doesn't mean you're automatically telling someone to stop asking for fan service. because at the end of the day fans will do whatever they want since they spent their money on it like you said. and i have to disagree with the second part because bg hasn't been asked a single question on his artistry in the promotional interviews. like on starry night he couldn't contribute to the conversations because he didnt have any credits on the album.
even when he has produced a song it's rare for interviewers to ask him about it. so i think its fair to say that fans just want someone to ask him about his work/goals or just to praise him in general
