wjats your favorite food
hmmmm. i like savoury over sweet food in general but not really specific dishes... oh i love peking duck. with the whole wrap and veggies and sauce setup. penang carrot cake but it has to be good (fresh). this one specific minced meat noodle stall. i also like pasta esp aglio olio but it has to be really good. also garlic bread
for sweet stuff i like it when it has texture so like ice cream with honeycomb/rice krispies idk i can't think of anything rn. as long as theres something crunchy. i like creme brulee aaand brownies i haven't had Actually good brownies but i like watching instagram cooking videos and daydreaming

what's your type of character? like what kind of themes and archetypes are you usually drawn to. and are there any you aren't particularly fond of?
i like characters who have a relationship that is very important to them. like if a character is really unnormal about their friend im on it like a rabid dog. i also like characters who work relentlessly toward their dreams. also also for japanese media specifically i have a soft spot for ojousama type characters i think theyre cute. OH and characters with siblings i have one myself so its very easy to get me with a good sibling relationship. it doesnt even have to be very good actually bc im so weak
for themes if a character is depicted with motifs of stars flowers or butterflies i really like that. oh an unrelated note recently i rewatched umamusu rttt and now im on a serious ayabe kick so that might influence some of what i said here. just a little bit.
for ones i'm not a fan of i don't really like characters that are made to be funny. even if they have a deep and complex inner world idrc bc they don't appeal to me. i am NOT HERE FOR FUN TIMES!!!

honestly not really but uma really can lend itself very easily to revstar aus bc of the whole pushing each other higher/rivalry thing. oh i like to think kitasans anime outfit and diachans l'arc outfit are their revue outfits :) and ayabe uses a bow bc of that one rttt kikuka sho illust. also when i watched s1 suzuspe reminded me a lot of hikaren

Favorite non-LN character and the main reason(s) on why they standout to you?
minori! i love the way the cycle of inspiration is told through her character + haruka. the way minoris hope was so strong that she got the rest of mmj to decide to be idols again... shes the core of mmj and that will never not get me. i also have a soft spot for characters who never give up in the pursuit of their dreams and minori is the embodiment of that
honourable mentions:
- kanade, who was my very first favourite prsk character because i was drawn to how tragic she was. i think nowadays niigo fans have somewhat ruined her for me but i really want to get back into niigo/knmf since their current story is reallt intriguing me
- an, who would probably have been my answer instead of minori if i read the vbs story sooner loool. you can really see why she loves vivid street so much and how her very core is made up of the love she received from everyone. i love the ups and downs of her relationship with kohane too and how they expanded on her insecurities... an really has it all honestly. interesting childhood backstory, fleshed out family (and extended family), and very close friend/rival/whatever. love anchan
