about your question: right now, i'm not part of the student pub anymore, pero i was before! sa current school ko, may interview din and may test before ka makapasok. so i get what you're feeling, nakakakaba talaga siya lalo na kung first time mong mag-aapply nang on your own terms. pero ang ganda rin na you're choosing this for yourself now, hindi dahil napilit ka, and that makes a big difference. gusto mong sumali kasi nag-enjoy ka doon before, and that's more than enough reason to try again.

for the interview, ang pinaka-importante para sakin is to just be honest about why you want to join. hindi mo naman kailangang maging sobrang impressive agad sa credentials, what matters more is that they see you're genuinely interested and willing to learn. pwede mong sabihin na you've had a bit of experience, and though it was short, it helped you realize you liked the work and you want to grow more in that space. they don't expect perfection, promise. a lot of pubs actually look for people who are open to learning and have that willingness to improve over those na super experienced na pero hindi na tumatanggap ng feedback.

kung may test, do your best, but don't overthink it. minsan sinusukat lang nila kung marunong kang mag-organize ng thoughts, kung may sense of tone ka, or kung clear ka magsulat, not kung magaling ka agad. and sa interview, just treat it like a conversation. show them your curiosity and passion kahit kabado ka. minsan okay lang din aminin na kabado ka, nakakatulong pa nga yun to show you're sincere.

what genre trip mo, anon? i read a lot din haha pero recently i've been reading shounen. lately kasi gusto ko ng mga may action and physical scenes.

for shoujo, i really like skip and loafer and yubisaki to renren. pink to habanero is also fun (parang reverse maid sama 😆) maganda rin yung museru kurai no ai wo ageru so far, though hindi pa ako nakakapag-catch up sa recent chapters (the male lead also reminds me a bit of ts)

sa yuri, i really like tgswiiwagaa, kase-san serie, hana monogatari, and she loves to cook and she loves to eat.

for shounen, kaiju no. 8 just ended and andami kong gustong sabihin about it pero haha shut up na lang ako 😆 for ongoing na shounen i've been reading sakamoto days, wind breaker, blue lock and gokurakugai. pero favorite ko talaga na nirereread is mob psycho 100.

for seinen, oyasumi punpun is the one i'd say na wag mo basahin unless you're really ready. legit mental damage. blue period is great din, andami kong naging thoughts while reading it.

fantasy side, witch hat atelier is top tier for me. both story and art are insanely good. i also like frieren, dungeon meshi, and magus of the library. teacher, we will destroy the world! is also good so far para sakin. after märchen is one that leans darker.
