i will admit basketball is not one of the sports i could immediately see him in ! however i CAN see it in an AU where till grew up with io :> growing up, ive always seen basketball as a 'people's sport' / community sport, along with volleyball and badminton, since those are some of the most common community bonding activities in my hometown. yk like fun activities a group of friends can get into after classes or on the weekends without needing much outside of an open, flat area and a couple of equipment. thus, i can see till getting into basketball as one way to connect with his peers outside of his music and art. i cant see him pursue it professionally, but i can see it as one of his recreational hobbies !

imagine : romantic fantasy au. they all study at a prestigious academy for royals and nobility. sua and ivan are the crown princess and the 2nd princess respectively. till is a baron's daughter and mizi is the duke's daughter.

till and ivan met as kids when ivan saw till painting in the royal gardens during the night of the kingdom's founding anniversary banquet. ivans been attached to till ever since.
it's hard to really gauge why ivan was so captivated by till because ivan is simply The most proper princess to ever princess. not a hair, word, nor gesture out of place. the way she talks to till is just as expected of an interaction between their differing status. till has familiarised herself with the way ivan's different fans feel on her back and her chin whenever the princess 'kindly' corrects her in her posture or mannerisms. honestly ? their conversations are 90% scolding from ivan than anything else.

but then. ivan is really the only one who actually treats till's dreams of becoming a well-established artist seriously. as a mere daughter of a baron, till's dreams seem ridiculous to everyone else. but not to ivan. in fact, ivan has firmly and consistently established herself to be 'till's first and top patron'. she constantly buys till's paintings and other artwork at exorbitant prices. she commissions till often and 'hires' her for other jobs that require till's specific skillset.

till has varying emotions regarding this patron-and-artist relationship they have going on. while till is very thankful for ivan's help and seemingly genuine interest in her craft (hell she can actually just drop out and live off of ivan's payments comfortably for the rest of her life), sometimes till feels extremely suffocated by their difference in status and power. her entire career seemingly teeters on ivan's interest and favour of her. she cant find a way to bridge that gap, nor does ivan try to do it.

till... till just really wants ivan to be a friend, yknow ? but ivan's walls feel too high and fortified and till doesnt want to lose ivan if she ever oversteps. she has all of ivan's attention, sure, but it's not enough. and it haunts her constantly.
