Not only has wataru tried but he’s done so enough to know how to SUCCEED? DESPITE ALL OF YUZURU’S TRAINING AND KEEPING HIS GUARD UP? That speaks so much for how much yuzuru’s come to trust him OR how capable wataru is if he’s able to do it despite the established limits of enstars hypnosis
based on the tweet i'm referring to it seems yuzuru was still somewhat reluctant when it came to complying with what wataru was trying to make him do (which in this case was just to go "nyan" and strike a cat pose) so i imagine that if this truly was hypnosis at play and not just yuzuru playing along to please fine's audience then wataru's technique barely succeeded. which is still a good thing because that means there is a chance that this could greatly improve the more he tries.... oh man. i am so excited its crazy. sosososo happy

IF yuzuru had his own choice, what choices do you think he'll be?
(this is just a WHAT IF thoughts, don't took it seriously)
this is such a hard question but i definitely have entertained it a few times before. there isn't really a definitive answer or conclusion that i came up with, but the most that i want to say for it is that if he had a choice then he would be. normal, for lack of a better term. the fun and experience that being in class 2b has given him is probably the greatest example of the life he could have always lived had he not been born into the world with the sole purpose to be taught and trained to become tori's butler...
i think about yuzuru's military friend that comes up in tempest and how they ended up owning a flowershop business and yuzuru just couldn't wrap his head around that because there is just zero correlation to make between a military training facility and a flowershop. for this reason i do like to think about yuzuru owning a flowershop himself just to parallel his friend lol i think it would be cute. he is not only tending to plants but he could also spend a lot of his free time cleaning his shop and gathering necessities etc etc IDK!! it would be nice. nothing crazy deep about it
i do think that yuzuru would always stay in contact with tori though regardless of what universe this is in or possibility this is entertaining like. tori will always be important to him, their relationship will always be important, and they would stay in contact even in the scenario that yuzuru stops being his butler
anyway as for like other things i think obv if yuzuru had a choice since the very beginning he would have chosen to prioritize his education and maybe get like an office job. or own a small business like a flowershop of course ...

havent been into enstars for years but i love yuzuru to the death and your really true post about him showed up on my tl and made me smile, i just wanted to extend my gratitude. i love that all the happiness he is able to find in his life comes from settling its so horrible

You know, I've been thinking a lot recently about the MM matches in terms of what HE's agenda is, and so I hope you don't mind if I share here my theory about the Mam/fine round (and ofc, if you have a different perspective, I'd love to hear it).
First off, crazy theory, but I think fine will actually face a reformed Double Face. In one of the team's comments, they say MaM will receive both a 5☆ and a 4☆ during the Tour which is already sus. Add that an old DF song'll be added this year and I think there's a not slim chance we'll get that duo back (not that I believe they'll actually re-introduce it, both for Madara's self-isolating tendencies and also because HEKK'll look very stupid after going out of their way to disband the unit).
Secondly, now that Wataru has had his 2nd center, I do believe we're getting Yuzuru as 5☆ and Tori as 4☆. Afterall, Kohaku and Madara are both the anti-Yuzuru: the former lives a relatively free life even if he was raised to serve the Suos and Madara is a rogue, disowned man who rebelled against his parents. They both make excellent foils against him and throwing Tori into the mix could get us the chance to explore the almost codependent nature of Tori and Yuzuru bond. (But, as you, I'll keep my expectations low)
Finally, I do believe fine will win this round, mostly because of Keito. In the 10th Anni Artbook, the staff comments that Ibuki's assimilation into AKATSUKI marks Keito's resolve to step into the spotlight as a protagonist and no longer Eichi's henchman. So, I believe AKATSUKI will be the one to defeat fine, recreating Quarrel Festival. (Ofc, that's if we get the quarter finals, and semifinals, and not if they take the !!-SS route)

I HAVENT TOUCHED ALTERSPRING IN A HOT SECOND im so sorry. these thoughts are super interesting!!!! i was mostly in favor of fine losing to aktk until i remembered that. its no longer a three-person unit. um? and considering this whole narrative happyele is trying to sell where aktk is "stronger" as four i think fine losing to them like crazyb did to encourage this path theyre taking doesnt sound very nice LOL..... in that case im seriously hoping they just lose to mama to spare us all the trouble. yuzuru as the five star would be an absolute dream so im hoping youre right in that regard... ugh. a yuzuru-madara focus story would be sooooo good. really would like to explore their dynamic in a competitive setting. theyve worked together to beat people up before but how would they be like now that theyre pit against each other without options to run away?
i also had no idea they said that about mama getting a five star and four star?? omg? much to think about

Can u explain why Ibara and Yuzuru are shown hostile/hate towards eachother?
their interaction could be shown confusing to non shippers cuz they'd think that these 2 actually hate eachother and wants eachother to die

Oh my god I've talked about this with a friend before about Yuzuru's Yumenosaki sprite. Why is it so informal like aren't you supposed to represent and be an extension of Tori boy tie your shirt!! But I do like it... it makes sense in a way... it's so nice to see the yuxtaposition of prim and proper butler he wants to present as and act and then he looks so chill even when working in the student council too I think that's something unconcious he does. He makes so sure Tori looks neat and perfect and he walks out like that lol
i like it when people put him next to ibara in particular because hes actually got his all buttoned up and tightened up. you can really see the difference there lol its funny how yuzuru just doesnt also do that...? shirt unbuttoned and tie loose like who do you think you are fushimi yuzuru

oh very true... i think thats where yuzurus interest in wataru comes into play to make things interesting. most of their interactions would involve yuzuru gauging watarus behaviors and reactions and overall humanity because i imagine yuzuru doesnt actually get to interact with people a lot. and watarus the only one who sticks around.
its very fun when watarus the one being played around with which is probably what causes him to come back every time because hes so used to it being the other way around. and in this case he still acts as an entertainer of sorts its just. maybe unconventional because he is not always in control of the scenes. i also believe yuzuru would find watarus sincerity over his eccentricity ten times more interesting and something he actively seeks out whenever they meet again.
but of course there is always going to be some room left for wataru bothering yuzuru as well..... they probably do a lot of back-and-forth and its usually uncertain who triumphs in every conversation they have. so much fun.
i think what wataru likes especially with his meetings with yuzuru is how human he is treated during them. like i dont know. hes so unaligned with his own humanness and i think there is a bit of that yearning that exists within him where he wants to be seen and treated as such. so now that hes met with someone who literally isnt human its like. Oh man this is a bit new. not because whats in front of him is a spirit but because his humanity is constantly emphasized in their interactions and its not something hes used to. like, for once he doesnt feel like the biggest presence in the room
