What is a controversial opinion you have about something popular?

Nonspecific but Most popular media nowadays is only popular because it's either shortform and easy to get into quickly and form shallow attachments to or people get FOMO. I feel like while you see a lot of "I am #1 fan of so-and-so thing" people, the passion isn't really there.
