because i was so into the group to the point where i was watching all of their stages and all of their variety content on youtube. when you watch everything and keep up with everyone's schedules you become start noticing patterns in how they act.

some members frequently mess up their lines when singing live. it leaves a bad impression because as a 7 year old group, your members should not still be messing up like this. i don't think EVERY kpop idol has to be an amazing singer but at the very least you shouldn't be messing up constantly at concerts and on radio shows. when my bias is constantly talking about taking vocal lessons and i can hear how he has improved, it feels disrespectful to hear his members messing up and saying things like 'there's nothing left to learn about singing.'

and for variety content, sometimes the interactions between the members are tiring. their stage director scripts interactions and they read these off the teleprompter. those moments feel too fake to me and i don't like it. and i dislike the dynamic they have as a group because xj tends to always be the butt of every joke. at first it was entertaining. but it became more annoying to me as i kept stanning this group. because they are grown men and have known each other for so long but they continue treating xiaojun so weirdly. obviously its HIS friends and his life so it doesn't matter what i think and i don't know everything about the relationship these people have with each other. but i personally don't like seeing members trying to embarrass him and gaslighting him constantly. like when yy was trying to frame him as a bad friend for not inviting the members to his haidilao dinner when in reality he texted all of them and they all ignored him. or when they play games for variety content and they single him out and bend the rules to make him lose in an unfair way. like making saying all pronouns be his 'no go words' in a game where you get to hit a member anytime they say something everyone agreed they cant say. in old content i don't mind it. but it kept happening throughout all of 2025. and if they all KNOW that xj is a sensitive person and takes things seriously, then i don't understand why they treat him this way and do it on camera for fans to see. i personally wouldn't want friends like that. so i don't want to watch other people act like that.

in their personal time, idgaf what they do and they can treat each other however they want to. but i'm not entertained by this dynamic they have anymore so i don't like the group overall. i just like hearing xj sing so i'm always going to tune into whatever he's doing. his work with wayv is still HIS work. so i do still pay attention to the group because i want to keep up with xj, but that doesn't mean i'm a group stan.
