Hi, no rush bc you are only one person, but at what point would you prefer us to dm you to make sure our cards haven't been missed? Don't wanna spam you or pressure you!
hi! i go through the cards almost every night, so if it's been 3+ days and you haven't gotten a stamp, then please dm me your post! some people have not been showing up in my notifications because their accounts have labels on them or twitter is hiding their posts for whatever reason 😮💨
This is amazing! I hope you can build a team to do this with and not have to do it all on your own bc this is a lovely project
thank you so much!! if there's interest in a second round in the future, i will definitely be recruiting for more help and make the event even better! :)
i know this is a lot to ask since you're only one person, but can i ask why this account isn't rting all the stamp card posts? i was kind of hoping to see people's thoughts, and it might help authors to find them, since it can be hard to figure out if an author has a twitter.
i figured that all the postcards would already be showing up on people's timelines since i'm replying to them all, so rt-ing them felt like it would be too much spam. but if you guys aren't seeing them and want me to rt them, i can do that as well! i'll put up a poll and see what everyone thinks
I love this event and am considering keeping record of every comment card that’s been submitted so far (and the ones submitted in the future) both so that no fic in the stamp rally archive goes uncommented on and so each writer can access a collection of comment cards for their fic so they don’t miss any additional thoughts/replies posted on twt in addition to comments left directly on their fic. I guess I’m wondering if this data would align with the values of the event and worth collecting/sharing?
i think it would be nice to have an archive like that! though i don't think we can expect every fic in the library to get a comment, it would be nice to have all the postcards in a collection, especially since the search function here is abysmal. if you're up to the task, i'd say go for it :)
the fic “good puppy” is categorized as >50000 but its 13k
fixed thank you!
Hi! Would you prefer us to post our comment cards one at a time and then wait until you stamp to post the next one? Or if we have multiple would you prefer we just post them as we go even if our card hasn't been stamped for the last one yet. (Wanna make things easier for you! You're doing so amazing!) And sorry if this has been asked already.
hi, you can post as you go and i'll catch up when i can :) i usually go through them in batches once or twice a day so it'll be faster for you to get your stamps if you post as you go rather than waiting for each stamp!
hey, I did my first post for stamp rally, how long it is for getting a stamp. i imagine you're overwhelmed with response, but i'm just anxious i did it wrong - i tagged you and have the link in the comment
hi, can you dm me so i know which account to look for your post? i caught up on everything i had last night so i might have missed yours or your post was hidden.
if a series is linked in the library instead of individual story, do we need to read and comment on all parts of the series to add it to our comment cards?
no you don't! each fic in the series would count as a separate entry if you wanted to read them all for the rally :)
Hi!
Just letting you know that the MnBn fic "Where the Sky Meets the Sea" is listed as under 5k, but it's actually 40k words.
Not a big deal, but thought you may want to know!
fixed it, thanks for catching that!! 💕
Can the comment on the fic and the comment on the card be different ? (I like writing long comments for the Fics lol)
yes that's fine! some people have been shortening their comments to fit on the postcard :)
